PARKING AT JOFFRE
Parking and Shuttle Information for 2019 Summer
IMPORTANT: Parking Shuttles Operations are complete for 2019 season.
VISITING ON A WEEKEND? YOU MAY NOT GET IN
All Joffre Lakes parking lots are expected to fill up by early-mid morning on weekends and many weekdays. As of June 2019, vehicles parked on the side of the highway will be towed away and ticketed with active enforcement underway.
TRAILHEAD PARKING LOT
The main parking lot (directions) is the closest to Joffre Lakes trailhead. The lot is usually full by early morning even on weekdays. It is located to the right of the highway if you are coming from Vancouver, and is well sign-posted. Outhouses (basic washrooms) are available at the trailhead.
On weekends, Duffey Lake - Joffre Shuttle and Vancouver - Joffre Bus drops off passengers here.
SECONDARY PARKING LOT
The secondary lot (directions) is located about 250m south of the main lot, so if you are driving from Vancouver, you will see it on your left before you get to the main lot. The lot gets full by early-mid morning on weekends and even on some weekdays.
There are no bathrooms available at this parking lot. The path that follows the highway connects to the trailhead parking lot - you will need to cross the road.
CAYOOSH LOT
Cayoosh Parking Lot (directions) is located 2km north of the trailhead along the same highway. The shuttle will be operating on select weekends and holidays from June 29 until September 29, and will provide limited capacity primarily on first come, first served basis. Service details are below.
This parking lot is reserved for users of the shuttle only, and will be locked at 4:25pm daily. There are no bathrooms available at this lot.
